What this site collects, why, and what it doesn't do with it.
This is a personal blog. I'm not selling anything, running ads, or trying to build a profile on you. I use one analytics tool — Microsoft Clarity — to understand how the site is being used so I can make it better. That's it.
This site uses Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymised usage data. Clarity helps me understand things like which pages get visited, how far people scroll, and where they click — without identifying who you are.
Clarity does not use cookies. It does not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information. The data is aggregated and anonymous.
You can read Microsoft's own privacy documentation at privacy.microsoft.com.
This site is registered with Google Search Console, which tells me how the site appears in Google search results — things like which search terms lead people here and whether pages are being indexed correctly. Search Console does not collect any data about individual visitors to this site.
This site does not set any cookies on your device. You won't see a cookie banner because there's nothing to consent to.
There are no ads on this site. No ad networks, no tracking pixels, no affiliate links. I don't monetise your visit in any way.
This site links to external services including LinkedIn and GitHub. Once you follow a link off this site, their own privacy policies apply — I have no control over what they collect.
If you've got a question about any of this, get in touch via the contact page or find me on LinkedIn.
